Hypothyroidism and hip pain

Abstract


Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is the most common hip disorder affecting adolescents and has multifactorial aetiology. Hypothyroidism may present as SCFE. We introduce a patient with such a presentation to highlight the association.
